Fascinating chart and article from NYT asking if religion plays a role in determining your financial position in the world. Most of all, though, I loved the use of color, turning a pretty simple plot chart into some delicious candy. Nice one!

Bonus Infographic of the Week: How To Take Great Self-Portraits

This one reminds me of the type of cool infographics we used to see in the local paper (San Jose Mercury News, are you alive?) Well, not exactly. This illustration is hella cool. I mean, it features a hipster! And, it’s in color. But anyways, for some reason it reminds me of that stuff. Do newspapers do those anymore? I never see them. All the “infographics” related to news these days comes from blogs or maybe some graphic design student. Anyhow, I advise you to try out these techniques. I am.
